Hi there readers
As you may have noticed I've not been in touch for quite a while due to personal reasons but there is no need to waste anymore tears because Auntie Lucy is back and ready to roll.
Since our last chat a lot has happened. I have now got a step closer to receiving direct payments. I'm currently in talks with a Support Planner who will be arranging a meeting with me and a support group called Independent Living Service. The service will help me with the arrangements to manage my money and employ my PA (Personal Assistant) who will be working with me on a regular basis.
If you ever see me in your area don't forget to roll out the red carpet and make sure the men are wearing Tuxedo's.... after all don't you think I deserve to be treated like a celebrity when I've got my PA like all the A-List celebrities; Audrey Hepburn or Simon Cowell and not forgetting my personal Christmas present to my self and all you lovely ladies... In my last blog I informed you that I was raising money for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. Well, I'm happy to announce that I have managed to raise £115.70p
The Suffolk Centre are having a three course meal to raise money for the £10 Challenge next week. To do the challenge the Suffolk Centre staff will be cooking for the clients. The £10 Challenges is a competition for Papworth Trust staff to raise as much money as they can with £10 before Christmas.
Lucy's Blog Challenge
I would like the readers of my blog to get involved by telling me a story or something about themselves. The first 5 entries will appear in the next blog. Don't worry for those of you who don't get in to the blog this time round because they will appear in upcoming future blogs.
The closing date for the first 5 entries is Thursday 10th December 2009.
All that is left to say is until next time readers
