We want our 17,000 service users at the heart of everything we do, now and in the future.

Empowerment is about disabled people having a bigger say about what happens to them in their lives and across our own organisation. We recognise that empowerment is different for everyone.

We want disabled people to tell us what the Empowerment service should be and how it will work.

User Council
User Council of disabled people and carers influences how Papworth Trust supports and involves service users in making decisions and developing its services.
We have vacancies on our User Council. If you are interested in becoming a member please contact us for more information.

Disability Advisory Service

Provides training and advice which is tailored around the needs of the organisation relating to disability and increasing awareness and disability confidence.

West Suffolk Disability Resource Centre (WSDRC)

Ensures that disabled people receive free, impartial advice and easy access to key disability services. The centre is a partnership between voluntary and statutory organisations.
