Papworth Employment Services also works with Primary Care Trusts and GPs. Many patients who have a long term illness or disability want to work but fear losing their benefits if they contact their Jobcentre. For example we can support patients that are unemployed with depression, have low confidence and self esteem or who are recovering from a serious car accident or industrial accident, and who need support finding employment. A straightforward referral system can be set up and tailored to the needs of each individual practice or GP.
