Papworth Trust's OWL Centre offers a choice of activities for disabled young people to have fun and learn new skills. We also offer training and work experience at OWL Bikes and the OWL Café in Sawston.
The OWL Centre and OWL Café work in partnership with Cambridge and Huntingdonshire Regional Colleges to provide accredited courses.

Activities
Try drawing and painting, be creative and make your own art.
Learn how to repair and recycle bikes at our bike workshop.
Crush cans so that they can be recycled and used for something new.
Whether you're a complete beginner or you want to improve your skills, these sessions can help you use computers and the internet.
Learn to plan, prepare and cook healthy and tasty meals.
DIY ("do it yourself") is doing jobs around the house, such as painting and decorating, putting up shelves and making flat pack furniture.
Learn how to grow fruit, vegetables and flowers, look after a garden and harvest produce.
Come to the local sports centre with us. Everyone is welcome - we will support you to get fit with an exercise programme that suits you.
(This session costs an extra £1.75.)
Learn skills to live independently, such as managing your money, doing jobs around the house and travelling by yourself.
Learn to play different musical instruments and sing, and enjoy creating music together as a group.
Work with the group to write articles for the OWL Newsletter.
Learn office skills such as answering the phone, filing and using a photocopier.
Enjoy trips to the cinema, library, café, zoo and other places. With the other people in the group, you can choose and plan the trips you'd like to do.
Find out what makes a good photo and learn how to use a camera.
Find out what you can recycle and practise sorting unwanted materials so that they can be reused.
Join our running group to get fit and make new friends.
Join the group for shopping in Sawston and trips to the local supermarkets. We're also planning to go shopping in Cambridge soon!
Try different sports, including ball skills,
boccia and hockey. (This session costs an extra £1.75.)
This session is for OWL members to enjoy an evening meal together on the first Wednesday of every month.
Learn how to run a tuck shop, selling drinks and snacks to customers.

The OWL Centre is open on weekdays (Monday-Friday) from 10am to 4pm.
Costs and booking
Sessions start from £17.50 for a half day session and £35 for a full day session.
If you haven't been to our centre before, you can do a free taster session to meet us and decide if you'd like to come back for more sessions.
