Papworth Trust Equality Choice Independence

Cambridge and London law firm, Taylor Vinters, has worked in partnership with Papworth Trust for nearly 20 years. During that time, they have been involved with volunteering, fundraising, pro bono legal support and event sponsorship.

Taylor Vinters has taken part in many of the Trust's Fundraising activities from the 50k for £50k challenge to Golf days and the London Marathon to the Grand Challenge, the Apprentice style fundraising competition. As part of the Grand Challenge, Taylor Vinters raised nearly £6,000 through producing and selling waterproof bike seat covers and running a 'Win a Car' competition.

Up until last year, Taylor Vinters supported the Trust on an ad hoc basis but formalised their commitment when they selected Papworth Trust as a chosen Charity of Choice. They have also set up a Charities Committee to maximise the benefits of working together.

Managing partner of Taylor Vinters, Ed Turner, firmly believes that corporate partnering with the Trust brings benefits to everyone. He said: "Our long standing relationship with Papworth Trust has brought us close together in lots of different ways. We really understand what the Trust does and have been able to raise awareness about their activities with our own clients and contacts. Our staff have strong relationships with the Trust's team and we have all had a great deal of fun in organising and taking part in so many fundraising events over the years."
