The West Suffolk Disability Resource Centre (WSDRC) in Bury St Edmunds provides essential services and advice for disabled people, families and carers.

The Centre is fully accessible for people with physical, learning or sensory disabilities. It is a 2 storey building with level access throughout, a lift to the first floor, and a number of accessible toilets.

Support and advice for people with hearing loss.

Health advice and support for people with learning disabilities.

Lymphoedema - phone 01284 705031
The GeeCol Lymphoedema team specializes in complex lymphatic disorders, for example Acute or Chronic Oedema /Swelling and specifically Lymphoedema, in any part of the body.

Neurological conditions - phone 01284 748848
Advice and support for anyone with MS, Parkinson's Disease or Motor Neurone Disease.

Physiotherapy - ask your GP to refer you
Advice, rehabilitation and mobility assessments. Assessments can also be arranged in your own home.

Respite care - phone 01284 748841
We have information about, and can put together, respite care packages for disabled adults under 65 years of age. Respite for carers, including short breaks and time off in your own home, can be arranged.

Speech and language therapy - phone 01284 748847
Help and advice for adults having difficulty with communication, speech, stammering or swallowing.

Visual impairments - phone 01284 748800
For mobility training or advice if you have a visual impairment.

Wheelchair service - ask your GP to refer you
The wheelchair service provides wheelchairs.
