What is rehabilitation?
Rehabilitation is the process of returning an injured person to a productive and independent lifestyle. The main programme goal for most clients is to become work ready. This is achieved by increasing independence and confidence, identifying a suitable career path, updating skills/training and supporting people to manage their condition. Other clients may need support with independent living and have a programme developed to achieve this.
Our expert in-house team works with clients from immediately after an accident to a number of years after acquiring their injuries. We have successfully worked with clients with amputations, regional complex pain syndrome, musculoskeletal problems, brain injuries and spinal cord injuries.
What we can offer
Our multidisciplinary team offers tailored support following an assessment, which usually takes place at a client's home. This support can include any of the following:
Our vocational and medical team offers vocational guidance and support, counselling, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, as well as access to other services such as podiatrists, orthotists and psychologists as required.
Our results speak for themselves: 91% of individuals completing the full programme are either in work (56%) or work ready and actively seeking employment (35%).
